The Santaland Express is a float that's actually a Train and is owned and sponsored by Macy's. The float made its first appearance in 1995, where it lead the parade and has made many appearances in the parade. Also, it's sometimes called the Golden Eagle Express. Jimmy Fallon and The Roots and Mannheim Steamroller have performed on the float.

In 2013, it broke down on 6th Avenue for an unknown reason. It was supposed to be behind The Finn and Jake Balloon, but didn't re-join the parade until the On the Roll Again Float went by, in which it followed it and also the engine or vehicle underneath it may have lost power or gas.
