Serta is a mattress brand owned and operated by Serta Simmons Bedding. The company was founded in 1931 and specializes in mattresses that aim "to help people sleep better so they can live healthier lives."

History with the Macy's Parade

Serta debuted a new float in the 2025 Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade to celebrate the 25^th anniversary of their Counting Sheep mascots. Dreamed up by the design team at Macy's Studios, "The Counting Sheep's Dream Generator" is made with signature nighttime ingredients like stars, moons and cloud fluff. The whimsical machine is manned by the Counting Sheep themselves and features multiple lighting and spinning effects.

In conjunction with the float's debut, Serta also debuted the Serta 34^th Street Collection, a limited-edition mattress line inspired by the Parade.
