The Space Ship is the name of several original floats created for the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.
History with the Macy's Parade[]
The Space Ship made it's debut in the 1955 Parade but it was retired after that year's procession. A new Space Ship float made its debut in the 34th Annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in 1960. It would make 3 appearances before retiring after the 1962 Parade. Since 1963, the parade has been without a Space Ship float.
