The Super Hero Clowns are a group of clowns from the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.
History with the Macy's Parade[]
The Super Hero Clowns made their debut in the 2019 Macy's Parade, aiding with crime-fighting along the Parade route. The group of comical crusaders swooped into action and onto the Parade route with their capes blowing in the Thanksgiving Day breeze. The elite fleet of paragons all donned identical apparel, featuring the Macy's five-point namesake logo, while defending the Parade's iconic balloons from dastardly winds.
The Super Hero Clowns were briefly retired after the 2019 Parade. The group could not appear in the reimagined 2020 Parade, as Parade participants under the age of 18 were not permitted to participate, meaning teen clown groups such as the Superhero Clowns could not appear.
The Super Hero Clowns returned to the lineup for the 2021 Macy's Parade, now carrying signs featuring comic book action bubbles that read "Pow!," "Wham!," and "Blap!"
