The Tap-Dancing Snowmen are characters made exclusively for Macy's Holiday Parade.

History with the Macy's Parade[]

The Tap-Dancing Snowmen first appeared in the 2012 run of Macy's Holiday Parade, with eight found escorting the Northern Lights Jukebox falloon.

Sometime during 2013, Universal Studio Resort's artistic design team contacted the Macy's Parade Studio and commissioned a giant inflatable version of the Tap-Dancing Snowmen for the 2013 Parade season. The end result was a three-story high snowman, which would replace the Northern Lights Jukebox. The falloon continued to appear until 2015 when it was retired. After the rebranding of Macy's Holiday Parade to Universal's Holiday Parade Featuring Macy's in 2017, the walk-around versions of the tap-dancing snowmen remained, now leading the Parade with other elf dancers.
