History with the Macy's Parade[]

Tenille Townes made her Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade debut in 2019, riding off the success of her record deal with Columbia Nashville and topping the charts of the Canadian Hot 100. Townes appeared and performed aboard the "Home Sweet Home" float furnished by Cracker Barrel Old Country Store, which features iconic memorabilia found in its stores such as the famous hearth, peg game and rocking chairs.

For her performance in front of the Macy's 34th Street department store, Townes would perform a section of her smash-hit single, "Somebody's Daughter".

Townes wrote about her time at the Macy's Parade in a blog post, sharing her day in the famed holiday spectacle. "It was such an honor to be a part of the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade," she wrote. "What an incredible event, full of spirit and joy, and I couldn’t have imagined a cooler way to kick off the holiday season this year." She later added that "it was such a thrill to get to share some music in the parade. And then I made it back home to Nashville in time for some turkey and pumpkin pie with people I love."
