The 44th Annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade was held on November 26th, 1970 in New York City, and shown to viewers live on NBC that same day from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. EST. It was hosted by Lorne Greene, Betty White, and Joe Garagiola. Participating celebrities included Brenda Lee, Billy Kidd, The Lettermen, Hank Williams Jr., Eddie Albert, and Scatman Crothers.
