The 61st Annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade was held on November 26th, 1987, in New York City, and shown to viewers live on NBC that same day from 9 a.m. to 12 noon EST. It was hosted by Willard Scott and Mary Hart. The lineup included 10 giant balloons, 15 novelty and specialty balloons, 20 floats and 13 marching bands.
