The 71st Annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade was held on November 27th, 1997, in New York City and shown to viewers live on NBC that same day from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. EST (Live) or local time zones. It was hosted by Katie Couric, Willard Scott and Al Roker.
