The 73rd Annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade was held on November 25th, 1999 in New York City, and shown to viewers on NBC that same day from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. EST. It was hosted by Katie Couric, Matt Lauer, and Al Roker. The lineup included 12 giant character balloons and 19 novelty balloons, 35 clown units, 26 floats and six toy floats, 12 marching bands, and six falloons.
