Trivia[]
- This is the only post-1973 Parade that does not include the Tom Turkey float. It was mentioned that he had taken a "Thanksgiving off", and was replaced by the Cornucopia float.
- Katie Couric's daughter appeared on Amica Insurance's American Classic Malt Shop Float with Hilary Duff.
Incident[]
- The sun caused helium inside of the Turkey novelty balloon's tail feathers to expand, and later exploded. The rest of the balloon remained undamaged, however.
