Trivia[]

  • This Parade marked the first time Savannah Guthrie would host the NBC broadcast, replacing Ann Curry.
  • The 2012 Parade was the first time the modern-day route was put into use. Previously, the procession travelled through Times Square. The reconfigured route bypassed Times Square entirely, instead travelling down 6th Avenue.
