The 99th Annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade was held on November 27, 2025, in New York City and was broadcast to viewers live on NBC and Peacock that same day from 8:30 a.m. to noon EST. The broadcast was hosted by Savannah Guthrie, Hoda Kotb and Al Roker. The lineup featured 18 giant helium balloons, 33 mid-sized balloons, 27 floats, 33 clown groups, 11 marching bands, nine performance groups, a host of musical stars, and the one-and-only Santa Claus.

Trivia[]

  • Official partners for the 2025 Parade included Ram Trucks (official truck and work van provider), Remo (official drumhead provider), and The North Face (official outerwear provider).
    • 2025 marked the first time The North Face has been an official partner. It replaced Under Armour, who had been the previous outerwear provider since 2017.
    • Additionally, five Ram Trucks—Holland America Line, Jolly Polly Pirate Ship, The Counting Sheep's Dream Generator, Brick-tastic Winter Mountain, and Santa's Sleigh—were given custom-wrapped designs
  • The NBC broadcast of the 2025 Parade achieved the highest number of viewers in its history for the third year in a row, attracting 34.3 million viewers (including streams on Peacock)—an 8% increase from the previous year.[4]
  • The 2025 Parade telecast on NBC was produced by Done + Dusted Inc. for the first time, replacing Silent House Productions.
  • Renowned choreographer Mia Michaels directed several performances performances with Macy’s House Dancers for the arrivals of Tom Turkey and Santa Claus, as well as five featured floats—DORA's Fantastical Rainforest, Harvest in the Valley, Big Turkey Spectacular, Jolly Polly Pirate Ship, and The Counting Sheep's Dream Generator.
  • Social media influencer Taylen Biggs took over Macy's social handles on Instagram, TikTok and Threads, interviewing celebrity talent, special guests and more.
  • Big City Cheer!, Macy's Winter Wonderland in Central Park, the Rocking Flamingo, and the Rocking Tortoise were part of initial lineup plans, but all were eventually removed.[5]
  • This was the first Parade since 1995 to feature 18 giant balloons in a single lineup.
