Tim the Teddy is the favorite toy, and best friend of Bob the Minion from the Despicable Me franchise. Bob is a brown teddy bear with an over-sized head and yellow button eyes.
History with the Macy's Parade
Tim the Teddy made his Parade debut in the first-ever run of Universal's Holiday Parade Featuring Macy's in 2017. The balloon features Tim the Teddy Bear snuggled in a red and white Christmas stocking, akin to the likes of the Snuggle Bear and Eben Bear balloons.
Tim leads the Despicable Me unit of the Parade, and is followed by an array of Minion-clad dancers, three floats, and a balloon of his owner, Bob the Minion. The Tim balloon continued to appear in every run of the Parade, and continues to do so as of January 2020.
