Turkey is a giant balloon that appeared in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in 1935 and 1936.
History with the Macy's Parade
Turkey made his debut in the 1935 parade, But the balloon retired after the 1936 Parade, and like many other balloons from this time period, he was recycled into part of the 650 pounds of rubber donated to the military for WWII. He is unlikely to ever return as a balloon.
