The Vandegrift High School Viper Marching Band & Vision Dance Company is a musical performance ensemble from Vandegrift High School, located in Austin, Texas. Over the past several years, the band has earned many national and regional honors including the 2019 Bands of America Grand National Champions, the Sudler Shield International Marching Band Award and more. They're also four-time Bands of America Regional Champions.
History with the Macy's Parade[]
The Viper Band first appeared in the 2022 Macy's Parade, performing a rousing rendition of Tchaikovsky's 1812 Overture. They also made an appearance in one of the scenes with Uncle Travelling Matt from Fraggle Rock: Back to the Rock.
