Wendy's is an American international fast food restaurant chain founded by Dave Thomas on November 15, 1969, in Columbus, Ohio. The company moved its headquarters to Dublin, Ohio, on January 29, 2006. As of 2016, Wendy's was the world's third-largest hamburger fast-food chain with 6,500+ locations, following Burger King and McDonald's.

History with the Macy's Parade[]

In 1993, Wendy's debuted a float in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade titled "Home for the Holidays". It featured a small winter cabin at the rear of the float, all decked out for Christmas. In the middle of the float, a giant Christmas tree stood, serving as the centerpiece of the float. It also featured a streetlight at the front, alongside snow piling high on the float. This float was retired after 1994, after only making two appearances.

Guest Stars[]

Below, you will find a list of every performer/celebrity that has performed/appeared on the float.

  • 1993 - Annie Warbucks, Mr. Warbucks & Sandy
  • 1994 - Connie Stevens, Joely Fisher & Tricia Leigh Fisher; performed "Jingle Bell Rock"

In addition to these performers, Dave Thomas also appeared on the float for these two years.
