Will Coss is the executive producer and vice president of Macy’s Branded Entertainment. He oversees the creative ideation, design, and construction of Macy’s Annual Events, including the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, Macy’s Flower Show, and Macy’s Fourth of July Fireworks.
Coss attended Adelphi University in Garden City, New York, where he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in communications. Before joining Macy’s, he worked as a producer at companies such as Nickelodeon, YouTube, VICE, and MTV.[1] Coss lives in New York City with his wife, Mary, and daughter, Mila Rose.[2]
History with the Macy's Parade[]
Coss joined the Branded Entertainment team in April 2021 as executive producer and vice president, succeeding Susan Tercero. Coss was welcomed onto the team with a press release from Macy’s, in which then-chief consumer officer Richard Lennox said he was “pleased to welcome Will as the new leader.” “With his exceptional experience in live entertainment,” Lennox added, “he will help the team break new ground as the Parade marches towards its centennial.”[3]
In November 2021, Coss was featured in a New York Times article detailing how he spends his Sundays between his family and work during the busy Parade season.[2]
As the executive producer, Coss appears in media interviews for all special events and pre-events, including (but not limited to) Balloonfest and Studio Day.
